A.P. Security are thrilled to be partnered with PACA school to mentor students through the Dare to Dream Programme.
Partnership Overview
For the second successive year, AP Security and Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (PACA) teamed up together for the 2022/23 academic year to deliver the Dare to Dream programme to over 200 Year 9 students.

Portslade Aldridge Community Academy
A high-achieving academy with a rich academic offering, PACA believe anything is possible and champion an entrepreneurial ethos, specialism in sport and technological focus to raise standards and develop the key skills each student needs to achieve success in the 21st century.
PACA believe that every student can achieve success at school, irrespective of their starting point and encourage them to be fully prepared and ‘life ready’ by the time they leave them.

This year, 15 students from PACA benefitted from one-on-one support from 5 members of AP Security’s team:

For AP Security’s mentor group, through these personal sessions and engaging workshops, they helped engage the students to build their confidence, encourage them to grow and think positively about their futures.
About Dare to Dream
The Dare to Dream programme challenges young people to change the way they think about their futures and gives them the confidence they need to fulfil their potential.
The programme centres around 6 key themes; self-awareness, mindset, gratitude, resilience, teamwork and employability, and engages with fantastic employers in across the South-East to make a positive impact.
Led by charismatic Programme Lead and More Radio host, Jack ‘the lad’ Hayes, Dare to Dream fuses highly engaging presentations with interactive workshops to reinforce the programme’s key themes, boost the next generation’s employability and build towards a more positive future.
A.P. Security has been awarded the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award, recognising its commitment to supporting service members and their families. The company ensures fair recruitment for armed forces members and actively supports Reservists with training leave. Director Diane Mulkeirins highlighted the award as both recognition and responsibility.
A.P. Security's Commitment to Community and Social Responsibility
A.P. Security is dedicated to making a positive impact through charitable initiatives, including donations to the Army Cadets, supporting veterans, and mentoring youth. Directors Diane and Liam Mulkeirins also volunteer their time, reflecting the company's commitment to community service.
A.P. Security Have Signed the Police Industry Charter
A.P. Security has signed the Police Industry Charter. The Charter, managed by BlueLight Commercial and several key policing bodies, promotes strategic collaboration, interoperability, and transparency.
AP Security (APS) Ltd currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Security Guarding, Door Supervision and Key Holding.
