AP Security was established in 1991 starting out as an Events company providing a complete range of services from consultancy to onsite crowd management, with the development of the Manned Guarding division, providing corporate security officers, CCTV, Key holdings and  Mobile Patrols in 2012.

The Company founders in both divisions are still at the helm today,  guiding the company's many changes over the past decades but ensuring those core values the company was founded upon are still priority today. We have earned an enviable reputation within the UK's biggest event organisers as well as the bespoke service that we offer to our corporate clients from the Manned Guarding division.

AP Security has developed from an events business into a custom designed security solutions provider that offers a broad range of solutions for Manned Guarding,  Event Security, Building Facilities and Specialist Consultancy. AP operates in a wide range of industry sectors providing reliability, innovation, flexibility and Peace of Mind.

We are proud of our achievements thus far and have earned an enviable reputation at some of the UK's biggest events and household names and high profile public sector clients.

AP Security (APS) Limited holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Door Supervision, Security Guarding and Key Holding services, CHAS and Safe Contractor approval and is a member of the UKCMA and NOEA. We are compliant with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 35e and ISO 14001:2015.
