The new Close Protection top up to meet the new SIA renewal requirements. Learn the skills required to work as a Door Supervisor and the new Close Protection Physical Intervention Skills.

Course Details:

Principles of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry, working as a Door Supervisor for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry, application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry, application of Physical Intervention Skills for Close Protection Operatives in the Private Security Industry.

In order to participate and complete the course all candidates must be: a minimum of 18 years of age, hold a current SIA close protection licence, have a good comprehension of the English language, all students must hold a regulated 3 day first aid at work (FAW) with OFQUAL logo as a minimum with 12 months remaining.

Close Protection officer, training is one of our specialist courses. Our course locations are in East and West Sussex, however students for the Close Protection training course come from all over the UK, and we can offer help with sourcing accommodation.

We often get asked whether you need to have military or police experience or previous experience in the security industry, and the answer is no. It is not required for you to have experience in these fields to become a Close Protection Officer. However, working within the Close Protection environment requires specialist training and that is what we can offer.

Upon completion and passing the course you will have a valid SIA qualification for Close Protection. We not only have some exceptional staff who work in Close Protection and who work directly for us, but we also have experienced Close Protection Officers who train and they will be able to offer your advice on further development within your chosen career path.
