Level 3 SIA Close Protection Licence Course

Welcome to A.P. Security training centre. We offer a range of SIA training courses at our SIA approved training school. Our courses offer great opportunities whether you are looking to start a career in the security industry or you are looking to build on your existing security qualifications and skills. All our courses offer the expert training and knowledge to ensure you succeed.

Learn to operate and work as a Close Protection Operative with our SIA Level 3 Close Protection training course. This detailed course covers an array of skills, ranging from surveillance, foot drills, route planning to threat assessment and risk management, conflict management and more.

Course Opportunities

This course offers the perfect opportunity for those looking to enter the industry at a higher level or for those who are ex-Armed Forces, Security Officers, Door Supervisors, Police Personnel. With a Close Protection Officer SIA Licence there is a variety of roles you could find yourself working in:

Bodyguarding for celebrities and VIPs
Close Protection for high-net-worth individuals
Private international assignments
Protecting assets for high-end retailers
Residential security

Close Protection Office Training

Our courses take place at our independent training centre based in Arundel, West Sussex. We are proud to offer a dedicated level of service carried out by our specialists in-house SIA training professionals. Each of our training leaders all hold real experience in the security industry, working on the front line. Using our own teams is important to us to deliver a quality learning experience that maintains the high A.P. Security standards. We do not subcontract in any external or third-party teachers.

Cost: £2250

Course Duration: The course runs for 18 days.

Key Information: This instructor led course combines both practicals and theory. It covers the skills, knowledge and expertise to prepare you to sit your CPO licence exam. To carry out the Close Protection you must be at least 18 years old.

You will be awarded with a Level 3 certificate for working as a Close Protection operative within the private security industry, upon successful completion of the course. Which allows you to work as an Operative within the Private Security Industry, if you have passed the close protection training course.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text
