Level 3 SIA Close Protection Training Course

Welcome to A.P. Security training school. We are an SIA approved training centre offering a wide range of courses throughout the year. Whether you are looking to up-level your existing career in the industry or to make a start in the world of security, our courses offer expert knowledge and training.

Our SIA Level 3 Close Protection training course allows you to learn to operate and work as a Close Protection Operative. The course covers skills such as surveillance, foot drills, route planning, threat assessment and risk management, conflict management and more.

Course Opportunities

This course is ideal for ex-Armed Forces, Security Officers, Door Supervisors, Police Personnel or if you are looking to enter the security industry at a higher level. You could find yourself working in a wide variety of roles with a Close Protection Officer SIA Licence:

Bodyguarding for celebrities and VIPs
Close Protection for high-net-worth individuals
Residential security
Private international assignments
Protecting assets for high-end retailers

CPO Course Information

All our courses are carried out at our dedicated training centre located in Arundel, West Sussex. Training is carried out in-house by our SIA approved training leaders who are real members of our own security teams and each hold real world experience within the security industry. We use our own teams as we pride ourselves on providing a quality learning experience that is of a high standard. This is maintained by not subcontracting in external teachers.

Cost: £2250

Course Duration: The course runs for 18 days

Key Information: The course is instructor led and combines both theory and practicals, covering the knowledge and skills to prepare you for the exam to gain your licence. You must be at least 18 years old to carry out the Close Protection Course.

Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded with a Level 3 Close Protection Certificate for working as an Operative within the Private Security Industry.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text
