AP Security (APS) Ltd. were pleased to once again send a team for venue re-opening training, this time at a physically-distanced Islington Assembly Hall. The venue is reopening on 10th December under Tier 2 regulations. Our team has been at Islington Assembly Hall for several years and we are delighted to get the doors open once again for events. Chris Hollands, Regional Manager, said he was “delighted” that the venue was hosting events once more, “It’s been a really tough year for all of us in the industry, but here we have a venue that’s leading the charge for similar venues to do the same. The management have done an exceptional job behind the scenes to ensure that they can deliver these events in a safe, physically-distanced manner and I am sure the artists will make memorable experiences for customers who, like us, have had to wait a long time for shows to get going”.
The training sessions at the venue were supported by a guest talk from a representative of the Metropolitan Police, delivering some of the key points in respect to crime and vigilance when working at events. “It’s not just about Covid”, says Chris, “we still have to do all the things we did before in order to ensure the customers have a safe and enjoyable experience at the venue”.
Upcoming events at Islington Assembly Hall include The Cromagnon Band (10th December) and Pop Will Eat Itself (12th December). More info can be found at Islington Assembly Hall website.
