It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of Carole Lawrence, who passed away on Friday 15th January 2021.
Carole was an iconic figure within AP Security, who served with the company for most of her lifetime since AP was founded in 1991. Carole helped mould the AP family and was always referred to as the mother figure of the company; with her nick name being ‘Ma or Mum’.
Carole was a true quality to AP and her fellow friends and colleagues. Carole always led from the front; she was firm but fair and her brilliant leadership inspired everyone. Carole was always there if someone needed to talk, whether it was a cup of tea in the café or even just a laugh. Her wicked sense of humour and brilliant compassion really distinguished what an amazing lady she was.
She spent many of her years working at Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, and the renowned O2 Academy Brixton where she was well known by everyone and a true icon in the place she loved to work. Carole was always on the front doors with welcoming arms, serving the thousands of customers that would walk through the doors every night of the week.
O2 Academy Brixton paid a tribute to Carole, where all legends must be and in honour of her favourite place.
All our thoughts and condolences are with Terry & the Lawrence family.
RIP Carole from all at AP Security
