Essex Cricket Ground

AP have been providing stewarding and security services to The Essex Cricket Ground (ECG) for several years. Our main function is to provide cover for the infamous Twenty20 matches, where two teams battle for 20 overs, a competition between the Category C County Clubs.

In addition we are brought in to cover international friendly matches between the likes of England, Sri Lanka, and Australia. On the back of what we provide to the ECG we have been recommended to other cricket clubs namely Southend and Colchester.

AP are audited every season by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to ensure the club meets the required safety standards. The ECB implements a point scoring system across the clubs, AP has set the bar high as the ECG has come out on top with our stewarding practices being the best throughout the league. Because of this, our clients at Essex were asked by the ECB if they could use our practices as a blue print to improve stewarding services currently provided at other grounds.
