AP Security is both delighted and proud to count The People’s Palace as a part of its elite portfolio.
Alexandra Palace, perched on top of a hill within 196 acres of picturesque parkland, the iconic London venue has fantastic views over-looking the city. Affectionately nicknamed Ally Pally, the impressive Victorian building has a rich history since opening in 1873. Having survived two major fires, Alexandra Palace put up a great fight and went on to host the first ever HD television broadcast for the BBC in 1936.
Ally Pally attracts audiences of all ages and has seen millions of people through its doors. Not surprising as it hosts a huge variety of events and activities, from live music, sport and exhibitions to permanent fixtures; an in-house ice rink, skate park and boating lake. Major artists have taken to the stage over the years making Ally Pally a top class concert venue. Since we began our tenure there we have welcomed audiences to shows by the likes of Florence and The Machine, Jake Bugg, and The Libertines within an ever-expanding events calendar.
AP’s firm understanding of the events industry will certainly aid us on our new venture at Alexandra Palace. Our jointly held ambitions of premier customer service combined with safety at all times see AP and Ally Pally (another AP!) work successfully and harmoniously. AP are excited to provide our services to this incredible venue and to working in partnership with the first class events team there.
