A Marathon Year
2012 was another highly successful year, the overwhelming highlight of which was its involvement in the London 2012 Olympic Games. The year came to a suitably festive end with a series of Christmas parties at Manchester’s EventCity for its client Quantum Leap Events.
Each event was attended by between 900 and 1600 people and our staff, managed by Emma Tattersall, were on hand for checking tickets, managing queues for the events’ fairground rides, any general assistance to partygoers required and ensuring that people maintained a safe distance from each event’s climax, which involved dancing girls and fire!
2013 already sees AP booked for a range of new events, alongside those that we are already a familiar presence at.
“2012 was a hugely successful for us,” says AP National Sales Manager, John Phillips. “ I extend a sincere thank you to all the promoters, venues, organisations and local authorities that have entrusted AP with the safety and security of the public at such a wide range of events; to the local emergency services, without whose help and full co-operation our job at each event would be a great deal more difficult; and of course to our staff, both permanent and freelance, without whom we couldn’t do it at all.”
