2011 was a highly successful year, highlights of which included contracts at new venues, including The Birmingham Ballroom, an ever-increasing range of festivals, with Rewind being the company’s first event in Scotland.

After being an integral part of four highly successful outdoor shows by teen heart-throbs JLS in 2010, AP Security was asked back by promoter Dave Suter of Beat Up Music to lend the company’s expertise to five more major shows in 2011.

After nearly 40 years as a live venue, the landmark white building that dominates Birmingham’s Dale End was recently facing an uncertain future. Happily, following a thorough refurbishment, the live music returns to what is now called the Birmingham Ballroom.

After seven gruelling stages in England, Scotland and Wales, September’s 2011 Tour of Britain came to a high-speed conclusion in London in front of huge crowds.
